So Daddy monopolizes the TV on Saturdays so he can watch college football. And he's already initiating little Ellie--she's watched every USC game with him (except for the first game, since she wasn't here yet). So here she is with Daddy watching the big games. Fight on!

So the other day, Shawna decided to put Ellie on her Tummy Time, which helps strengthen the muscles in baby tummies and backs. No sooner had she placed her and ran to get the camera...than this happened.

Baby Ellie just celebrated her two week birthday yesterday, and today, we gave her her first non-sponge bath (she lost her umbilical cord last week). She loved it! No whining, no crying, and Ellie loved it when we washed, combed, and brushed her hair (as always). Afterwards, we dressed Ellie in the cute little empire-waisted pjs Grandma Liz bought her. So thanks to Shawna and Grandma Lynette, the baby is super cleansy tonight!

So Fat Tim is helping me graduate! Before school started for BYU last week, he came out and we began work on getting him veneers. Then, he came down to see Baby Ellie, and we finished. So check out the before and after pictures.
The consensus was that TIm had fluorosis, or an overexposure of immature teeth to fluoride, which in turn can cause white or brown spots.
Beauteous! His veneers were actually processed by the same lab tech who did Tom Cruise's veneers. Rich!

We are so excited and proud to announce the birth of the newest Elms, baby Elizabeth Ryan Elms. She entered the world yesterday morning, September 5, at 8:54am. Weighing in at 5 lbs. 13.5 oz, she's small but very healthy and is doing great. Shawna's a little sore, but is also doing very well. Daddy Andrew was there to help, and even got to cut the umbilicus. Also there for the birth were grandmas Liz and Lynette. Papa Bill, Uncle Challa, Papa, Pepa, and Bonnie Anderson all made their way to the UCLA hospital to see the baby. We want to thank everyone who has helped out and lent their love, support, and prayers. More posts will come, but for now--pics!
